Start with the venue requirements
A rental agreement often sets liability limits and additional insured conditions. Share those requirements and the setup and teardown dates so the requested protection follows the full event schedule.

Include the activities guests will enjoy
Food, alcohol, entertainment, temporary structures and vendors all matter. Describe who provides each service and any higher-hazard activities so the review reflects the event you are planning.

Protect rented equipment and property
Sound systems, staging, furniture and tents can create property or contractual exposure. Identify rented and owned items and request appropriate equipment and damage-to-rented-premises options.

Review cancellation separately
Liability insurance does not automatically reimburse event cancellation expenses. Request a separate cancellation review and provide the event budget and commitments so available terms can be discussed.
